I built a maintenance incident system because I am the person who runs one

Naif Ahmed Farghal

Telecom & Electronics Operations and Maintenance Specialist — and builder of operational software

Nearly six years in operations and maintenance at King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu: I receive technical reports, distribute them across a team of six technicians and track them to closure, prepare operational reports and manage spare parts.

It started with small tools

Automation tools that parse and organise technical system logs — still in use in the department today. Then a method for early fault detection that cut the need for repeated field rounds.

Then came the deeper problem

Not the faults themselves — but that recording them happens late and approximately, producing reports that look correct and are not. The same reports decisions are built on.

So I built Idrak

Designed, programmed and deployed it single-handedly — analysis, design, code, security, deployment and documentation. Because the person who knows best what maintenance systems need is the one running them daily.

Looking for the role that joins both

Field operations experience in a port environment, and the ability to build the digital tools that raise its efficiency. If you have something that fits, I would be glad to talk.
